Story Lab Week 14: Creative Writing and Style- TED Videos

Image I found it so amusing that heroes in stories typically follow the same timeline. The What makes a hero video perfectly explains this and how all of the books and movies are written. At the end it was turned around on how this is actually our own lives and I think we often forget that.  Until this series I had not heard of the term Orwellian. It is honestly a scary word and not one I want to associate with the world around me. Unfortunately it is all too true in some areas of this world. I also find it interesting this video was included in this series, but it sounds like Orwell's book was creative and therefore it belongs. I had also not heard of Kafkaeque but I completely see how this book was needed in society. All too often things like what did to Kay can to the most normal of people.
