Reading Notes: Week 2 Anthology
The stories in which grabbed my attention and I enjoyed the most were the two about the turtles. Two very different turtles but both interesting short stories. In the first story the turtle is being mistreated and just wants to relax in his home when the two sons of the King found him and became very scared. Having never seen such a thing before they go on to claim it is a demon and the King and his try to figure out something to do with it. Little to their knowledge they the turtle tricks them and is placed back in the lake where he belongs.
The second story involves a much more foolish turtle as he makes friends with two geese that want him to come home with them. The turtle loves this idea and so the geese tell him to stick by his mouth. the turtle is foolish talker and when he hears kids below talking about him he can not help but react. In turn the turtle falls and kills himself.
